About This Project

In January,2019 we had a pleasure to welcome 15 students of administration from Poland. They were assigned to 9 different companies depending on their preferences in Seville. 2 students showed interest in working in bookstore and stationery shop in the city centre with a wide range of books, newspapers, office equipment, and all the necessary products for students. There students had tocoordinate delivery of supplies, process sales invoices, receipts, and payments, stock management, organize the showcase and creating bibliographic records and etc. Also, some of the students chose to work a companyformed by a large team of professionals specializing in the branding, graphic design, printing and labelling sectors, here they could learnbinding of documents, developing administrative tasks related to customer service and use of office equipment, supporting sale process and sending, using a guillotine paper cutter, saving and archiving documentation and etc.

Other students decided to try themselves in companies mainly specialising in work with students like teaching languages or providing with training. Here they could learn processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments, maintaining and updating records management database systems, updating payments, schedules, class shifts, recoveries of the classes, controlling and preparing material that will be used for classes, maintaining and updating the internal data and etc.

Moreover, some students were willing to work in property-related companies such as a real estate company, which is advising and renting properties in Seville. Also, another company dedicated to renting rooms to students who come to the capital of Andalusia to develop their cultural Exchange, who come for Erasmus or for those who are doing their internship. In those companies, students werepreparing, scanning and placing documents in electronic and paper filing systems, processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments, promoting the selling and renting of the different properties, picking up and place the sale or rental posters at the different properties that are being promoted, adding data in the informational application of the agency.

Besides their practical training, students also had a study visit, intense and dynamic language course, cultural activities such as Seville city tour or tapas night and trips to other cities like Granada, Cordoba and Cadiz, where they could explore and see other cities of Spain and get to know the country better.

A 3-week stay in sunny Sevilla in Spain, I think it was successful. I became more confident and independent. During the internship, I learned to prepare orders and make a customer base. Other activities that I did were simple. Trips to Cadiz, Granada and Cordoba were awesome. I also remember the “tapas night” and above all, the hours spent on the Spanish course with wonderful and really nice Mari. It was a unforgettable adventure. I do not regret that I took part in the project.
