About This Project

In April 2019, Euromind greeted two German girls to do an internship in the administrative sector in the Andalusian capital. They formed a valuable part of the team at two different companies, one library and one school, during their 3 weeks stay in Seville.

Among other things, their responsibilities included creating and modifies documents using Microsoft Office, performing general office duties, using a photocopier, printer, and scanner, preparing, scanning and placing documents in electronic and paper filing systems, maintaining and managing inventory control of materials and suppliers, processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments, analyzing prices and purchasing office supplies, providing appropriate organization of invoices, maintaining and updating records management database systems…

They also attended an intensive Spanish language course, which allowed them to learn some Spanish to help them integrate better with their placements. Here in Seville, they enjoyed city tour to get deeper insight into the Andalusian culture. We hope they enjoyed their stay in this beautiful city!

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Jule Hix

My name is Jule and I’m working in a school. It’s very religious. I’m working there at the administration department. Most of the time I’m working with excel on the computer. My colleagues are very nice to me. I love my working hours because they are not too long. The city Sevilla where we live is very beautiful.

Leticia Schramm

My name is Leticia and I’m staying in Seville for 3 weeks. I work in a library where they keep really antique books. For example, the last few days I’ve been scanning the pages of an old book and it is for me very interesting. My work colleagues are very friendly and I really like that I can work on my own. The city is very beautiful and the weather is also nice. We have already had the opportunity to sightsee and visit a lot of monuments. We have really enjoyed our stay in Seville!
