About This Project

In March for three weeks, we have hosted in Seville a group of four Slovenian trainees from Postojna. They came to Spain to increase their knowledge and professional abilities as mechanics.

The trainees worked in companies. That gave them an opportunity not only see how the work in Spain looks like, but also to meet Spanish culture and make friends.
The car mechanics on their practice were helping to inspect and test new vehicles against damage, performing basic services and repair activities related to car servicing, lubricating and washing vehicles, and repairing car body.
Trainees from Slovenia took part in a Spanish course, what helped them to communicate at work and in everyday situations during their stay.

During their stay, the trainees visited Malaga, where they could admire the beauty of this Andalusian city. They find out many things about Spanish culture and history, they saw the most important monuments and viewpoints and then they spent some nice time together on the beach.

They went back home with a positive attitude, ready for the next adventure. We hope that they will not forget this experience and the things they learned will help them build their careers.

‘I really enjoyed my time spent on practice in Seville. I had an excellent mentor and coworkers. They showed me a lot of new stuff and taught me a lot of things’.

Anze2

Anže Štemac:

‘I am satisfied with the internship. In Peugeot, we got to know each other very quickly and the work became easy and fun. I had a little problem was language because nobody speaks English, but on the Spanish course, I learned many words, that I needed in my practice’.

Marko2

Marko Primc:

‘My practice was great in my opinion. My tutor and the coworkers were very friendly to me. Two of them knew basic English, so communication was mostly with hand expressions and some words in Spanish. I learned some new things and that’s what really matters’.
