About This Project

In December 2017, a group of 16 students from Poręba (Poland) came to Seville for two weeks to do a group training as Ports & Terminals Services Operators. During their internship, they learnt new things and developed their professional abilities in the fields above, carrying out several tasks, such as:

-get to know how ports are classified
-get to know what kind of works are done in ports
-be able to recognize the differences between each port service
-be able to enter data and make reports

Furthermore, they discovered the beauty of Sevilla during Seville Tour, where they saw some main emblematic places, such as Plaza de España, Parque Maria Luisa or Real Alcazár and the typical Andalusian food during Tapas Night. They also learned some basic Spanish during Spanish course and visited the beautiful city of Malaga, as well as some companies important for their professional experience.

We hope that our trainees had fun and that they learned many things that will be useful for their future work and private life.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Adrian Nowak

The practice in Seville allowed me to get to know the culture of this country and the people who live here. At Ada Its, I learned to use very helpful programs such as Baplie and CargoWiz which are a great facilitation in logistics. Our coordinators Agata and Kuba were very kind and helpful. The tours were very interesting and well organized. I could see the beautiful city of Malaga and the port of Seville. Spanish lessons were taught by a great teacher Stefano, thanks to him I became acquainted with the Spanish language. I will be very happy to remember people and time spent in practice in Seville
