About This Project

In February, Euromind greeted 18 students from Poland for 2 weeks in order to gain more knowledge about developing and creating video games. Students took part in a host company located in Seville. This company is specialized in developing video games, that’s why it is also a great place for European students and graduates who want to gain relevant experience and perform an effective internship.

Students had the opportunity to develop their skills doing some tasks such as creating land in order to use it as a base for the game, creating animations in Unity, adding interactive interfaces to the game, designing a silhouette, editing images and silhouette in Photoshop, adding and editing materials and colors in Maya and applying them correctly in Unity 3D… They could visit a company which is an independent video games developer. During the visit the student learns necessary skills in computer games development such as production, programming, art, design, and sound – all essential for the creation of successful computer games.

The group also participated in very intensive Spanish lessons run by our Spanish Teacher. The students passed the exam with very good results and obtained certificates.

In addition, they took part in several activities and trips, such as Seville Tour and a trip to Granada.

We hope they are satisfied with their stay  in Seville!

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Zofia Lidke

The practices were interesting. They required knowledge of English so that I had a chance to check and improve my skills. I learned to design in Unity and Maya programs. The Spanish lessons were very nice and useful during the stay.

Thanks to the Erasmus + project, I had the chance to work in the Autodesk Maya and Unity program. I designed a bed, my own room, a street and a golden tower in Seville in the programs. Thanks to our teacher Lolos help, we created a game and a map for it. I also expanded my knowledge about marketing and who the project manager is. The internship were conducted in a way that allowed me to learn a lot. In my opinion, the Erasmus + program brings significant benefits to my language skills as well as my professional and personal development.
