About This Project

In January 2018, 16 Polish trainees from Żychlin come to Seville working as e-commerce programmers. The students carried out many tasks such as:

 

  • Installing and configuring the local server LAMP.
  • Installing and learning about the IDE (Sublime Text).
  • Configuring and using MySQL.
  • Downloading, installing and configuring WooCommerce plugin for WordPress CMS.
  • Configuring SEO (search engine optimization) and payment gateway to sell the products via Internet.
  • Configuring delivery costs in terms of geographical area.
  • Downloading and installing Prestashop.

 

Next to their practical training, the trainees were also provided with plenty of cultural activities. They were given Spanish classes, went on a study visit to a company involved in e-commerce, went to a Seville Tour, and a trip to the beautiufl cities of Cádiz and Gibraltar

We hope the trainees were satisfied with their stay and wish them the best of luck in the future.

Bartosz Chrulski

The internship in Spain allowed me to learn new skills and get to know the Spanish culture. Thanks to the Spanish course I learned a new language and Spain surprised us with warm weather in February. Seville is a beautiful city and I could visit it again.

 

Adrian Ratajczyk

Thanks to the practices in Spain, I gained new skills in the field computer science. I had the opportunity to learn something about a new culture and to try Spanish dishes. I hope to come back here in the future.
