About This Project

In November of 2016, 16 very motivated and technically-educated trainees from Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych  im. Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego came to Seville to take part in a traineeship at a host company with more than 100 years of experience in the area of Mechanical Manufacturing and Electrotechnical Systems. During their three week stay in Seville, they received insight into the fascinating world of CNC.

The tasks of the interns included the following:

  • familiarizing with safety health requirements in machining workshop
  • montage of cut tool and raw material
  • traditional milling machine operation
  • traditional lathe machine operation
  • learning the basics of CNC programming
  • programming CNC machines
  • design of 3D parts using a computer and CAD/CAM software
  • create a simulation and verification of the machining process using a computer and CAD/CAM software

The trainees tried their very best to absorb all the new information that was introduced to them during their internship. But luckily, there was plenty of time to relax as well. They fully explored all the cultural activities Sevilla has to offer by participating in a tapas night, by going to the bull ring, etc. And they finished off their journey with a trip to Córdoba.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

chico

Mikołaj Kleiber:

‘In my opinion accommodation in Inturjoven was very good; food was tasty, bed comfortable. After Spanish Course with Maria I learnt a lot of Spanish words and from her I received knowledge about Spanish culture so I liked that course very much. It was magnificient. Practice in Salesianos Trinidad was demanding but in my opinion very good and Mister Fran taught us how to program CNC. Fran is very intelligent. I was very suprised to learn about his far reaching knowledge. Fran and Paulina were both very helpful.’

chica 1Magdalena Michalska:

‘During the course in sevilla, I received a lot of new information about program CATIA. I was really suprised about the knowledge of Fran. Fran and Paulina were very helpful. I really liked them.
