In September 2016, 20 Polish trainees came to Seville to carry out an internship as aviation mechanics. The students of the Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych nr 1 in Bydgoszcz, Poland, did a two-week practical training at a vocational school and learnt all there is to learn about aircraft. Next to that, they had the opportunity to visit an aerodrome, where they could work with Cessna 172RG, do a checklist before flying and enjoyed a prepared flight. They also visited a Center for advanced aerospace technologies specialised in, amongst others, avionics and simulation.

Of cours the trainees also had the opportunity to visit the city and its surroundings. They were taken on a tour of Seville during which they saw the royal bullring and participated at a group visit of Gibraltar, the famous British city with the monkeys.
