About This Project

In July girls from Poland were attending the internship in Seville. Eight students spent their time at a company based on the technology in the agro-food and cosmetic sector in Seville. They have learnt many things. The activities included:

  • Removing  residues and sterilizing laboratory equipment and machines
  • Recording and reviewing the results of the experiments
  • Taking and analysing samples
  • Preparing and carrying out equipment maintenance
  • Performing physical chemical testing

Moreover, participants took part in activities outside of the lab such as Seville Tour and Tapas Night. During weekends students were taken for the cultural trip to Tavira in Portugal. They also, attended course of Spanish language. We hope they enjoyed!

Paulina Bogdańska:

The month I spent in Spain during the internship was one of the best in my life. Working in a modern laboratory broadened my theoretical knowledge and enriched my practice. Thanks to the Erasmus+ project, my vocabulary related to the profession is much better. In my workplace, I met many friends from different countries. An additional advantage of the project was the opportunity to learn about Spanish culture and language.

Aleksandra Dreksler:

I have learned a lot in Seville. I got to know Spanish culture, which made it possible to broaden my horizons. Working in a professional laboratory has enabled me to learn and practice analyses that I could not do at school. I also broke the language barrier. The month was very intense here. I feel I am a better chemist now. It was an amazing time.
