About This Project

At the start of the new year 16 enthusiastic Czech trainees made their way to Seville in order to take part in an exciting training programme regarding bioclimatic housing. During their two week stay the students were given the opportunity to make use of their priorly-gained technical skills, whilst also improving their professional and linguistic skills in the process.

Their main tasks included the following:

  • Creating exterior walls of the bioclimatic house in 2D and 3D.
  • Creating interior divisions and empty spaces in 2D using editing commands.
  • Measuring and customizing coordinates.
  • Creating libraries of blocks for installations.
  • Rendering and printing the plans of the Bioclimatic House.

During their stay the students pleasantly surprised their tutors with their enthusiasm, lively spirit and dedication at work. They managed to successfully complete both their traineeship and their Spanish course. Both apart from work there was still plenty of time left for them to explore the beautiful sights of Sevilla and its neighbouring cities. They went on an exciting trip to Gibraltar.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

David Török:

‘Erasmus is a great initiative. I am happy to have taken part in this program because I got the chance to be here in this beautiful city. I have learnt a lot during these two weeks. I improved my AutoCAD skills and learnt some basic Spanish phrases. We visited the most important landmarks in Sevilla such as the Plaza de España or Cathedral of Seville. Some of us also visited the official stadium of Seville –   Sánchez Pizjuán. I made lot of new friends and enjoyed my time here. I am very grateful for this opportunity. Thank you’

Dominik Gřešica:

‘I am really happy that I could participate in this project. I gained new knowledges, discovered a new country and met with new people. At first I could not really adapt to the new software of AutoCAD, but thanks to the instructor Manuel we managed to complete our classes without any problems. Time went by incredibly fast. Spanish lessons were amazing, Hannah’s teaching was fun in many ways. Spanish classes passed by incredibly fast and I was looking forward to the next lesson.  Everything was wonderful and enlightening and we had enough spare time to explore the wonderful sights.’
