About This Project

In June 2019, 20 students from Poland travelled to Seville to do their internship in the fashion industry as well as in marketing. They spent two weeks learning and enjoying their time in Spain.

The first group worked as dressmakers in shops and boutiques in Triana, a beautiful city district. Their main responsibilities were: fitting, altering, and repairing the tailor-made clothing, including flamenco dresses. The interns also made clothes, sewed fabric parts and ironed dresses. The students from marketing worked as assistants, graphic designers, and paper technicians. They dealt with managing digital contents of the websites and social networks, analysing and classifying projects as well as with constructing and managing database. The interns also took part in the preparation of offers for clients.

Additionally, they could enjoy their time in Spain during a number of activities organized by the euroMind. The group participated in a Sevilla tour which allowed them to get to know that amazing city. They also visited Faro, a fascinating Portuguese city, which combines an extensive history, interesting tourist attractions and an abundance of Portuguese charm. What is more, the euroMind team provided the interns with a Spanish course which offered them an opportunity to learn in a fun and dynamic way.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Dagmara Sitkiewicz

The practice there was a pure pleasure. I did a lot of interesting things that I did not even know about before. The people there were very nice, helpful and open.

Małgorzata Kowalska

During my internship at the host company, I was responsible for updating the website, sticking badges on clothing, displaying products and packing goods for shipment. The atmosphere in the company was friendly, despite the language barrier.

I learned to do projects manually, for example, briefcase or book boxes. That was an ideal job for me. It felt good there and taught me new techniques of work. I was very pleased with the opportunity to work in that place with those people.
