About This Project

Thirteen students from the Automotive School Complex in Bydgoszcz participated in the internships in Malaga in June. All of them  worked in a companies that are involved in every project dedicated to technology related to 3D printing.

The group closely dealt with 3D design (SolidEDGE), taking into account the specificity of design for the automotive industry and repairing and diagnostics of motor vehicles, including electric and hybrid vehicles.

During their stay they also learned Spanish in a course organized by EuroMind. An intense time encompassing concepts related to the scope of work allowed our participants to achieve satisfactory results after completing the course and work. All this using a combination of play and learning. We can describe their progress as: dynamic and practical. Interactive methods made students happy to take the final exam, which resulted in very good results. The group also visited several technology companies. During visits to them, the students learned how some modern solutions contribute to making life easier.

The internship program was divided into three modules. The first one was to familiarize with the activities of the receiving company, familiarization with the structure of the company, premises, rules, health and safety procedures. In the next, there were more complex tasks that required more responsibility. The intern continued to develop his professional skills and undertook new tasks. Performing work-related assignments assigned to the trainee depending on daily work, client needs, new projects and tasks. During the final stage, the trainees received more complex tasks that required greater involvement than at the beginning of the internship.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Dominik Dyhid

In my opinion, the Erasmus project in Spain was very interesting. I took part in 3D design classes.
The classes were conducted in English and the lecturer used a wide range of vocabulary. During the
classes I got to learn several new programs such as: Fusion 360, Cura, Zbrush, Luban and MeshMixer.
Thanks to the project, I learned a bit of the Spanish language and got acquainted with the
local culture. Summing up the entire Erasmus project I am very happy and would gladly repeat it next
year.

I enjoyed my stay in Malaga. Our 3D printing course was very interesting but the place lacked space, computers and an AC. The trips were very interesting but lacked a proper meal and the lunch packs provided weren’t eatable. In general, I liked my time spent here.

Radosław Kaszyński

In Malaga I spent almost a month, I am satisfied with the beautiful city and met nice people. Time
passed very quickly and during the 3D classes I gained a lot of knowledge. The Spanish language
classess helped me communicate in Spain.

This years’ Erasmus was a great experience. I have learned a lot of interesting things related to 3D
and not only. I am also very happy with the Euromind team. Every trip or time spent together was
well prepared and thought out. Malaga is a great city and the inhabitants are very nice people.
